RETURNED SERVICEMEN’S GOLF TOURNEY
PREPARATIONS FOR NEXT SATURDAY A very keen committee is at work arranging for the annual Wanganui Returned Services golf tournament, to be played on the Belmont links next Saturday. A reduction has been made in the entrance fee from 5s to 2s 6d. Special preparations are being made to establish control by 2nd N.Z.E.F. personnel, the idea being that In the years to come the tournament will be in the hands ol the younger generation. Entries close on Wednesday next and may be left with Mr. J. Goss (tobacconist), Mr. W. D. Young (Commercial Bank) or Mr. W. Rutherford (National Mutual).
