KING GEORGE HANDICAP AT ELLERSLIE 1 AVONDALE STAKES WON BY BEAU LE HAVRE (P.A.) Auckland, Nov. 11. For the Avondale Jockey Club's second spring meeting yesterday the weather was line and the attendance large. The track was good. The totalisator handled £168,181, against 1154,164 10s, an increase of 114,016 10s. Lou Rosa received an ovation on winning the King George Handicap with 9.10. The two-year-old Beau le Havre put up a great effort to win the Avondale Stakes after being a long way back. Yorkish created a surprise, winning the Members' Handicap to pay over a third of a century. __ R. Caddy, rider of Bonny Pay in the Electric Handicap, was suspended for one month for careless riding, coming over too quickly at the start. Results:
