PATTON IN COMMAND
DEPUTISING FOR GENERAL EISENHOWER Recd. 8 p.m. London, Nov. 10. General Patton, by virtue of his seniority, has been appointed commanding general of the United States forces in Europe in the absence of General Eisenhower, who has left for Paris, en route to America, where he will testify before Congressional Committees.
