REMEMBRANCE DAY RED POPPY PETALS HUSH CROWD TO SILENCE Recd. 7.30 p.m. London, Nov. 11. Their Majesties the King ano Queen, and the Princesses, attended a British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Albert Hall. A crowd of 5000 joined in a tribute to the Empire’s dead in two wars. Contingents from all the fighting services mustered with the massed blue and gold standards of the legion in an arena facing Their Majesties. Cheering died down to a silence as the festival was brought to a solemn climax by a shower of red poppy petals from the roof.
