MITCHELL SHIELD ITNAL Three-quarters of a length was the margin bv which J. Schneider’s crew boat F. Coker's crew in the final of the Aramoho Boating Club’s Mitchell Shield. Both crews went away to a good start, with Schneider taking the lead at the quarter mile. Coker challenged hotlv and made up leeway, but over the final distance Schneider's crew drew away to win by the margin stated. The crews were: J. Schneider (str.), T. Preator, J. Wilkie, E. Filer (bow); J. Davidson was cox. F. Coker (str.), D. Simmonson, W. Thomas, J. Black (bow); A. Bloor was cox. In previous heats Managh beat Lind, Schneider beat Fothergill, Coker beat J. Fothergill, and Schneider beat Managh.
