13.K46 OF 17,841 WHO WERE LOST ARE RECOVERED Recd. 10 p.m. Melbourne, Nov. 9. Of 17,841 members of the Bth Division captured when Singapore fell 13,646 are alive and home, or on their way home. A total of 3860 are known to have died, including 10 whose deaths occurred after they were recovered. Only 335 members of the Division have not been accounted for. Special recovery parties are still searching every area in which the Australians served, or were imprisoned, in an attempt to locate the men still unaccounted for.
