Waikato Show Successes
Several Wanganui poultry fanciers enjoyed successes til the Waikato Show, held at Hamilton last week. Mr. G. Weekes in the Plymouth Barred Rock stud section, secured North Island championship for hen, first and second for standard hen. first for standard cock and utility hen, and second for utility cock. In the bantam section, T. G. and N. Luff were awarded Ihe North Island championshin for a white Pekin bantam, in addition to three firsts and a second and an award for best soft-feathered bantam in the show. Mr. Ross Richardson, Waitotara, secured successes with Old English game birds.
