WANGANUI Y.M.C.A.
NEW GENERAL SECRETARY APPOINTED Mr. H. Prowse, acting general secretary of the Auckland Y.M.C.A. for the past three years, has been appointed general secretary of the Wanganui Y.M.C.A. in succession to Mr. A. L. Rounthwaite, who resigned some months ago to take up an appointment with the Child Welfare Department in New Plymouth. Mr. Prowse takes up his new duties about the middle of the present month. He Is a prominent youth worker and was engaged In that capacity with the Government for many years. While in Auckland he has taken a full part in the development of Y.M.C.A. work. Mr. Prowse has conducted youth leadership training course, and is an experienced choral conductor.
