Mrs. P. Curtis left Wanganui on Monday for Auckland where she will in future reside.
Mrs, W. Clementson, Argyle Street, with her son, has returned from a visit to Dunedin. Miss Joan Hoskin, of Dunedin, is visiting Wanganui as the guest of Mrs H. J. Duffy, Upper Aramoho. She journed from the south by air. A member of the China Inland Mission, Miss Norah Edwards, Whangarci, who had been interned a,. Hong Kong, is reported to be safe in Sydney. Miss Edwards was en route to China after spending furlough in New Zealand wnen she was taken by the Japanese at Hong Kong. She was interned in Stanley Camp, Hong Kong. After studying at the Bible Training institute, Auckland, she first left for China in 1934.
