Mrs. P. Latham has returned to Wanganui after a visit to Christchurch.
Mrs. S. G. Millen, Palmerston North, has been spending a tew days in Wanganui with friends at Kaitoke, ard was a guest at a soc.al afternoon held yesterday by members of Air Force Relat.ons, of which she was a former president.
Tile members of the ladies’ committee of the Wanganui Aero Club were entertained at a picture party on Saturday night given by Mr. and Mrs. A. Tasker, at their home on St, John's Hill. Mrs. Tasker thanked all members for their great ass stance during the last five years. Many parcels were sent to the members of the club and were much appreciated by the numerous letters received. Supper was served. hither and thither. VV.I. Drama Festival. Three plays will be presented at the Women's Institute Drama Fe.tival, to be held in the Repertory Theatre to-morrow evening. Mrs. S. Rankin has consented to be adjudicator and will give a talk and a helpful criticism after the plays.
