WELLINGTON CATHEDRAL APPEAL
To inaugurate Wanganui s part in the Wellington Cathedral campaign, a public*meeting called by the Mayor, Hon. W. J. Rogers, M.L.C., in the city council chambers to-night, (Monday) will be addresed by Sir Charles Norwood, executive chairman of the Wellington committee. He will be accompanied by Mr. Howard Wadman and Mr. K. W. Kilpatrick, campaign director. a.
A film, “To All Eternity,” will be screened and plans if the cathedral will be available for inspection. At the meeting, the organising committee will be elected so that the campaign in Wanganui may start. To-day the visitors will attend the Wanganui Rotary Club luncheon, at which Mr. Wadman will be the speaker. The quota for Wanganui city is £8790, which represents Id a day for a year from 5860 contributors.
