(P.A.) Feilding, Sept. 21. Apart from station cattle values there was nothing outstanding in the weekly rale at 1- eliding to-aay, all lines meeting w-th ouiy fair competition. Mutton pixces remained steady in the case of primest quality lines, but the general condition was below this and values reacted accordingly. For store sheep the market was particularly quiet, and very lew were offered. Station cattle met a very firm demand, and although some lines failed to find buyers at auction, con iderable transactions took place Later at sat.siactory figures. Bee; prices showed little movement, owing io tne unattractive offering, while dairy stock declined in value on the recent high rates. The range of prices is as follows: Fat sheep.—Hoggets: Extra prime, 27s 4d to 28s 7d; pr.me, 26s to 27s Id; unfinished, 21s 7<l to 25s lOd; plain, from 22s It id. Ewes: Extra prime, 30g Id to 33s lOd; prime, 27. s to 28s lOd; average quality, 25s 4d to 26s 7d; plain and unfinished, 22s Id to 24; 6d. Weihers: Extra prime, 39s Id to 40s 7d; prime, 37s lOd to 38s Id; I ghter, 32s 4d to 35s 4d.
