ARAMOHO MEETING Decorated with flags of.thte Allied nations and bowls of spring flowers, the Aramoho Druids’ Hall presentea a gay appearance for the first peace meeting in six years of the Aramoho Women’s Institute. Mrs. Seddon pressided over a good attendance of members. Business was quickly dealt, with and the afternoon becae a social one. An exhibition of old china was well supported and admired by all present. Competition for prettiest niece of china was won by Mrs. Walton. Garden circle competitions resulted: best bloom, Mrs. Basse.t 1, Mrs. Caitcr 2; tied bunch spring flowers. Mrs. Shanks 1; bunch polyanthus,' Miss Georgetti 1. Solos by Mesdames Seivewfight and Nolan were enjoyed by all as also were two elocut ionarv items by Miss B. Whitely. Little Ailsa Tiz'ard entertained with tap dance and solo. Community singing conducted by Mrs. West was enjoyed, concluding Ihe afternoon wi h the singing of “There’ll Always Be An England” and Ihe N.Z. National Anthem. Mrs. Tizai’d accompanied all artists and sprays were presented.
