PRICE OF FOREIGN SILVER IMPORTED BY U.S.

AN INCREASE MADE Recd. 8 p.m. Washington. Sept. 29. The Office of Price Administration increased the price of foreign silver imported into America from 45 cents a fine ounce to 71.11 cents, raising it to the level of the maximum price for domestic silver. The Administration explained that a continuance of the former price might, keep needed supplies from Ihe American market, and had substantially reduced' imports recently.
