APPROVAL IN INDIA
GOVERNMENT PROPOSALS

Mr. Attlee’s assurance that the proposed Indo-British treaty will not bo unjust to India is prominently displayed under such headings as “Early Freedom for India,” and “Indo-British Treaty in the Making.” The Free Press Journal, hitherto among the most critical of British policy announcements, said the chief merit of the new plans was that they eliminated parties and other political anomalies.
