FOUR INJURED
CAR HITS TELEGRAPH POIzE. (P.A.) Christchurch, Sept. 9. A car driven by Mr. G. H. Nicholls, aged 58 years, struck a telegraph pole at West Melton at. 11 a.m. to-day. Mrs. C. Carodus, aged 39 years, Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Nicholls and Miss N. Gallagher, aged 69 years, rece.ved injuries and were admitted to hospital. Mrs. Carodus is on the seriously ill list. The condition of the others is satisfactory
