RESIGNATION OF HEADMISTRESS (P.A.) Wellington, Sept. 7. The resignation of Miss E. H. K. Mitchell, 8.A., London, headmistress, of the Wellington Diocesan School for Girls, Nga Tawa, Marton, is announced by the board of trustees of the school. The resignation is to take effect at the end of the first term in 1946. Miss Mitchell, who succeeded Miss McCall in 1935, has been headmistress for 10 years, coming from England to take up the appointment. Steps are now being taken to appoint a successor.
