FORTNIGHTLY “KORERO” Sa cage L. J. Williams was “Great. Chief” lor the night at the recent Wanganui Savage Club “korero.” Members of the Havvera Club were to have raided Wanganui, but, because cf peace? celebrations the trip could not be organised in the time, and the ordinary fortnightly “korero” was observed as usual.

Under the baton of Savage W. Bowra the orchestra again enlivened the procteding and an enjoyable programme of songs, humorous items and music aelighted all who attended. Songs were contributed by Mr. E. Brandon and Savages McMasters and McDougal, numerous items by Savage Cassidy and Bracey Wilson. Instrumental items were contributed by Mr. Hughes (piano accordeon) and Savage W. Johnston (’cello). Those who produced sketches were Savages Kirk and Findlay, and Savages Newrick.
