BLOOD FLOWN TO WOUNDED
Recd. 10 p.m. New York, Aug. 22. The New York Times reports that the first shipment of whole blood for wounded Americans flown to Europe was delivered in response to an urgent request by the Army and Navy services for 1000 pints diaiiy in addition to the 100,000 pints of plasma required weekly.
