THOUGHT INVASION WAS TO START YESTERDAY Recd. 1.5 a.m. London, May 29. The Germans evidently expected some movement connected with invasion plans, says the Press Association’s aviation correspondent, commenting on last nights raids on England. The raids seemed designed to gain information of the coastal movements, with a destructive attack against one area as a diversion. The Germans, in the last few days, named to-day as the invasion date.
