TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND

ADMIRAL W. F. HALSEY (P.A.) Wellington, May 27. In a statement to-night the ac'tingPrime Minister, Mr. Sullivan, said that on the invitation of the New Zealand Government, Admiral W. F. Halsey. United States Navy, Commander of the South Pacific Area and Force, will visit New Zealand shortly. During his stay the Admiral will be the guest of the Government, and during the time he is in Wellington he will stay with the Governor-General, Sir Cvril Newall. “I am delighted that Admiral Halsev has found it possible to come to New Zealand for a few days," said Mr Sullivan.
