BRITISH FLEET IN INDIANJJCEAN AIR ATTACK ON SUMATRA SHIPS RETURN UNDAMAGED (11 p.m.) London, April 20. Carrierbased planes hit harbour installations, power facilities and shipping. Fires were left blazing. The carriers were escorted by a powerful force of cruisers, destroyers and submarines. Sabang is regarded as one of the best harbours in the East and it is believed the Japanese were using it as a submarine base.
