FOUR NAZI ATTACKS

ON ANZIO REPULSED WITH LOSSES London, April 19. The Allies repulsed four enemy attacks yesterday against one position in the Anzio beachhead, states an Allied communique from Italy. The enemy suffered heavy losses in these attacks. The Fifth Army beachhead forces holding the west flank made another thrust-and-cut raid against enemy strongpoints between the sea and Borgo Piava, varying thei-’ tactics from th c silent approach, with which they carried out their earlier raid in this area, writes a correspondent with the Fifth Army.
