DONATION OF £500
POWER BOARD’S PATRIOTIC CONTRIBUTION A decision to donate £5OO for patriotic purposes, on the same basis as last year, was agreed to at the monthly meeting of the WanganuiRangitikei Electric Power Board yesterday. The chairman, Mr. F. Purnell, intimated that the money will be distributed among the various patriotic committees in the board’s area. "The object is a first-class one and should receive every support," he added. Patriotic committees in the following centres will participate in the donaton: Wanganui. Marton. Hunterville, Mangaweka, Taihape, Bulls and Waverley.
