TO-DAY’S PROGRAMMES OPERA HOUSE “Son of Fury,” which screens at the Opera House to-day, is the story of Benjamin Blake, a man battling the world for his birthright—living nad loving riotously—sailing the seven seas to find fortune and love in a tropical paradise. Full of suspense and exciting drama, "Son of Fury" highlights the flaming romance of Tyrone Power and the four women who influenced his life—Kay Johnson, who lovejl him as her own, Frances Farmer, ruthless and coldly beautiful—Elsa Lanchester, a slatternly girl who aided him in a perilous moment and Anally Gene Tierney, exotic and lovely—who gave him peace and love that defied time and distance. “Son of Fury” is the magnificently thrilling dramatisation of a man who knew ‘how to love as fiercely as he could hate. The role of Benjamin Blake is portrayed by Tyrone Power with gusto and charm and it is a perfect characterisation for this top ranking star. Power’s dynamic performance rates with his other outstanding work in “A Yank in the R.A.F.” and "Alexander's Ragtime Band.”
