SOUTH-EAST ASIA FRONT Recd. 6 p.m. London, Nov. 21. The relations of the new Southeast Asia Command with the Government of India were explained by General Sir Claude Auchinleck, Corn-mander-in-Chief India, slates-a Delhi message. General Auchinleck said the command would apply to him for units of the Indian Army to be placed at its disposal. The situation would be the same as that in regard to Indian troops in the Middle East and other theatres. Regarding financial aspects, General Auchinleck said the High Command would place its demands before the Government, which would consider financial and economic conditions and decide whether to arrange provisions from India or other sources.
