ELECTRIC SHOCK
MAN KILLED, ANOTHE& INJURED (P.A.) Waipukurau, Nov. 18. While engaged in work in connection with a soil erosion survey on the Lower Gorge Road, Waipukurau, two Public Works employees received electric shocks, one dying shortly after receiving the shock. He was Angus Mackay, married, aged 36, JSketahuna. Rayner James Jose, Wellington, received severe bur Tis and is in Waipukurau Hospital. His condition is serious. The two men were using a steel tape. Mr. Mackay was on the road, which is 50 feet above 11,000-volt power board lines. Mr. Jose was in a paddock on the flat beyond the lines.
