FORESTRY TROOPS
RETURNING FROM BRITAIN
Recd. 7 p.m. New York. Sept. 29. The arrival at an undisclosed port of more than 600 forestry troops of the Australian and' New Zealand Armies, on their way home, after three years’ service in the British Isles, is announced by the War Department. The Anzacs will enjoy a three-day vacation in New York City as the guests of the Eastern Defences Command. On Friday the troops will parade up Broadway to the City Hall, escorted by a battalion of police. They will be welcomed by the Mayor. Mr. La Guardia. Other entertainment includes a special baseball game in NewYork, Yankees versus Chicago White Sox.
