SECRET MEETING

CHURCHILL TALKS TO WOMEN Reed. 6 p.m. London, Sept. 28. Mr. Winston Churchill spoke to women in the Albert Hall to-day. It was a secret meeting with the object of making clear the national policy regarding the employment of women. Afterwards it was stated that Mr. Churchill had indicated that the Minister of Labour, Mr. Ernest Bevin, might call for more volunteers for the production front. He praised women ''or their wonderful war work but said there could be no slackening at the present stage of the war.
