Th< - quota is the final one for 1943, and is , for Christmas parcels. i The Wanganui committee secre- : tary, Mr. C. R. White, has issued a circular setting out special requirements for the quota. The parcel: should not measure more than 95in by siin., by 7in., and tins of cake, sweets, fruit, coffee and milk, ami oysters are on sale at the Wanganui City Council Chambers. As an alternative, contributions of 8s cash car be made in lieu of a ready-packed parcel. Contributors have been asked no' to include periodicals in the parcels because the inclusion of them invariably exceeds the maximum dimensions prescribed, but periodicals which are sent will be packed in arcspare space in the boxes.
