YUGOSLAV GUERRILLAS
FIERCE BXTTLE RAGING Reed. 7.30 p.m. London, Aug. 28. Yugoslav guerrillas are threatening Zagreb from the south and southeast following the capture of Slun.j, Topusko, and Jajce. reports the Ger-man-controlled Stockholm S.T.B. news agency. Strong partisan forces are also reported to be advancing in the direction of the Ljubia iron-ore mines. Guerrillas are again going info action throughout Croatia after organising their forces. Fierce battles are raging east of Bosnia and south-east of Tuzla. The guerrillas attacked trains and wre f c-.i tracks at many points. They completely control the line between Jajce and Eugonitieder. The British United Press correspondent points out that Berlin often uses the S.T.B. for issuing foreboding news.
