NEW AVIATION FUEL
REVOLUTIONARY RESULTS Reed. 9 p.m. San Francisco, Aug. 28. A new aviation fuel, now in quantity production in the United States, may shorten the war by giving th? Alfies aerial superiority, said the president of the American Institute of Chemists. Dr. Gustav Egloff. Two Russian chemists in America developed the new fuel, which is called triotane. It will enable planes to fly higher and faster, and carry heavier armour and greater bomb-loads. Triotane contains so much power that Its maximum use makes the present plane engines obsolete. Dr. Egloff says the only change necessary is to make the engine cylinder smaller and heavier.
