The net profit of the De HaviHand Aircraft Co., Ltd., for 1242, after charging depreciation and provision for taxation up to September 30, 1942, amounted to £43.784 (against £108,070), to which is added £4l (£3B) transfer fees, making £43,825 (£108,108), out of which directors* fees and chairman’s remuneration absorbed £3lOO (£5934), The amount brought in was £29,257, making a total available of £69,982. The directors recommend a dividend of 10 per cent., less tax, on the ordinary shares, leaving to be carried forward £29,982. For the previous 12 months, when the dividend was the same. £lO,OOO was allocated to the special investment reserve, and a similar amount to the employee*,’ benefit fund. The balance-sheet totals at £6.041,963 (£5,527,916). Fixed assets are shown at £812,118 (£935,941), and current asaets at £5,229,845 (£4,592,425),.
