UNUSUAL PLANE

NAZI "SECRET WEAPON” Recd. 6.5 p.m. London, Aug. 26. The crashing of a pilotless German plane on Bornholm Island is causing speculation whether it is the famous secret weapon upon which the Germans were experimenting at Peenemunde, bombed recently by the R.A.F. A Stockholm message says that investigation of the wreckage has shown unusual technical details. The plane carried no bombs and was believed to be on an experimental flight when it crashed. Swedish newspapers recall a rumour that Hitler is building an armada of pilotless bombers operated by radio with which to attack London.
