AUSTRALIA'S TASK
RECORD LIBERTY LOAN Recd. 6.50 p.m. Sydney, Aug. 27. Australia s fourth Liberty Loan of £125,000,000 will open on October o and close on November 9. This will be the bigegst war loan undertaken by the Commonwealth. The three previous Liberty Loans, each lor £lOO,OOO, were oversubscribed. The Prime Minister. Mr. J. Curtin, says 750,000 subscribers will be required to fill the new loan. The highest number of subscribers in any earlier loan was 460,000.
