EDUCATION BOARD VACANCY
To fill the vacancy on the Wanganui Education Board caused by the resignation of Mr. J. F. R. Wallace (Marton) three nominations have been received. They are Messrs. Norman Bromiley, George Hurley and Thomas C. Ward. The election will be held on September 17. The successful candidate will be representing the board’s west ward, which extends from Pafea in the north to Marton in the south, but excludes the urban area of Wanganui.
