WANGANUIAND DISTRICT PLACTNGS. Competitors from Wanganui and district are competing in the Hawera Competitions Society’s annual festival of music ana elocution. Included in the list of place winners are Rona Wilson (Aramoho), who was second in the sailor's hornpipe, 8 and under 10 years. She was also second in the tap dance undci' 10 years. Margaret Grant (Turakina) was third in the Sean Triubhas under 16 years. John Grant (Turakina) was highly comI mended in the Reel o’Tulloch, under 16 years.
