ELECTED AT ELECTRICITY CONFERENCE
WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI REPRESENTATIVES (P.A.) Napier, Aug. 25. Officers elected by the engineers’ conference of the electric power boards and supply authorities in Napier are as follow-:—President, Mr. A. Buckingham (North Canterbury); first vice-president. Mr. H. Webb (Wanganui-Rangitikei); second vicepresident. Mr. George Maclean (Marlborough); executive, Messrs. J. D. Dicken (Bay of Plenty), G. T. Edgar (Dunedin), A. O. Glasse (Auckland), B. H. Goldsmith (Taranaki), T. R. Overton (North Auckland) and R. D. Veitch (Timaru). Officers of the Secretaries’ Association were appointed as follow:—President. Mr. N. M. Speer (Auckland); secretary, Mr. A. J. McDowell (Auckland): executive, Messrs. G. A. Ammundsen (Wanga-nui-Rangitikei), K. W. Eglinton (Manawatu-Oroua), L. N. Potter (Otago), C. Cassels (Opunake), J. Denford (Christchurch), H. H. Wyllie (Hawke’s Bay) and W. S. McClymont (Grey).
Mr. G. H. Brown (Wairarapa), who retired from the secretaries’ executive, has completed the achievement of 19 years' srvicee.
