MARTINIQUE REFUGEES ESCAPE TO U.S.

Approximately 1000 refugees from Martinique have arrived in New York after escaping individually or in groups to various Caribbean islands, •here a steamer collected them. They •’dude 600 who are planning to Join he Fighting French, also 342 sailors nd merchant seamen.
