CRASHED INTO SEA

N.Z. AIRMAN KILLED

(P.A.) Wellington, March 19. When an aircraft of the R.N.Z.A.F. engaged in night-flying from a North islan I air station crashed into the sea al 8.30 p.m. on Thursday, a member ol the crew. Pilot-Officer Morris Mclntyre Bee (father, Mr. F. G. Bee, of Wairoa) was drowned, and the other two occupants, Sergt. Derek Aymler Leslie (mother, Mrs. C. Leslie, Gisborne) and Aircraftman Alfred Norman Larkman (father, Mr. A. H. Larkman, Wanganui) received injuries which are classified as not serious.
