N.Z.E.F. gazetted to-night" New Zealand Artillery: Major (temporary) C. B. Menzies, to be lieuten-ant-colonel (temporary). Captain (temporary) J. P. O’Connor, to be major (temporary). Infantry: Major (temporary) W. H. Fortune, to be lieutenant-colonel (temporary). Captain (temporary) A. H. Thom to be major (temporary). Captain J. H. Sinclair-Thomson to be major.

Medical Corps: Major J. R. H. Fulton, to be lieutenant-colonel (temporary). Captain (temporary Lieu-tenant-Colonel) W. P. P. Gordon, to be major and retains the temporary rank of lieutenant-colonel. Captain D. P. O'Brien, to be major (temporary).

Army Nursing Service: The undermentioned are to be sisters: M. J. Brown, A. Chapman, A. M. Davies, N. M. Higgins, E. M. Clarkson, C. Davidson, S. F. Marcroft, M. J. O'Leary, F. I. Kidd. K. H. Spragg. E. M. C. G. Sandes. To be Charge Sisters (temporary): Sisters M. J.‘Jackson and W. E. Wall.

New Zealand Armoured Corps: Captain E. J. Scotland, to be major. Engineers: Lieutenant (temporary Captain) W. P. Hitchcock, to be captain. and granted the temporary rank of major. The following appointments and promotions of officers of the New Zealand military forces are also gazetted:—

Staff.—Major C. J. Williams, 2nd. N.Z.E.F., to be lieutenant-colonel (temporary) while employed as assistant - adjutant and quartermastergeneral of a division. Army Nursing Service.—To be Sister: Lorna Margaret Jenkins. Staff.—Major F. R. Mcßride, 2nd. N.Z.E.F., relinquishes the appointment of deputy-assistant adjutantgeneral, Central Military District, and is appointed to command a company of a Hawke's Bay regiment. Major (temnorary) R. H. England, 2nd N.Z.E.F., relinquishes the .appointment of senior ordnance mechanical engineer, and is appointed deputyassistant. director of ordnance services of a division.
