GUERRILLAS IN GREECE

ATTAC: AXIS CONVOY Recd. 11.12 p.m. London, March 15. Guerrillas are so active in north Greece that Axis road transport is confined to convoys which are preceded by armed motor-cyclists while patrols cover the flanks, says the British United Press Ankara correspondent. Machine-guns are mounted on the top of lorries. Most convoys Include light field-guns. Guerrillas are besieging the Italian garrison at Kastoria, and 145 hostages were executed after saboteurs blew up a chemical factory at Ketherimini, near Salonika, and also a railway bridge in the same vicinity.
