SACRED HEART “AT HOME.” An enjoyable afternoon was spent on Saturday at the Sacred Heart. Convent, St. John’s Hill, when old girls held their annual "At Home” in conjunction with the swimming sports. The stalls set out in the summerhouse were most successful and those in charge were Mesdames Dobbs, Luxford, Misses L. Clark, M. Crowley and M. Robinson. A dainty afternoon tea was served in the boarders’ dining room those as fisting being Mrs. T. McCarthy, Misses E. Clark, V. Ruscoe, M. Tuffin, M. O’Halloran and M. McNamara. The committee of the S.H.C.O.G.A. expressed thanks to the sisters and all who helped contribute to the success of the function. Following are the swimming results:— Beginners' Race.—J. Williams 1, J.
