BIG TAX CHEQUE
Recd. 7 p.m. New York, March 13. A man walked into the New York taxation office to-day and paid in a cheque for 42,000,000 dollars tax. The official was not permitted to reveal the name of the person or the corporation making the payment, but said it was only the first of four instalments.
