HOSPITAL FOR TAUPO
Taupo, March 12. Work has commenced on a four-bed hospital for Taupo. The site is on the corner of Waiariki Street, more commonly known as Spa Road, and Kalmanawa Street. The hospital is being built of wood and sfyould be completed in another 12 weeks. A plant for pumping water from the Waikato River and an electric lighting plant will be included in the work. The cost of the hospital will be in the vicinity of 17000.
