“The Mummy’s Tomb," starring Lon Chaney, screens finally at the Regent Theatre to-day. The associate feature, “Give Out Sisters,” is a musical show with a real swing. “The Great Impersonation." “The Great Impersonation,” screening at the Regent Theatre to-morrow, is described as a drama of international spying and intrigue. This is the movie adaptation of the E. Phillips Oppenheim thriller. Ralph Bellamy appears as the man who impersonates a ruthless enemy counter-espionage agent, an exact double of himself. The film represents a substantial career “break” for Bellamy and the sensational role is said to have been handed him as the result of .his outstanding performance in Gregory La Cava's recent “Lady in a Jam." Evelyn Ankers. Universal’s blonde “find,” has the feminine lead. This she shares with Kaaren Verne, remembered as the exotic brunette of "All Through the Night" and “King's Row.” Miss Verne characterises a love-hungry, healthy young lady involved in the underworld snv net. The associate feature. “Hi Neighbour!" is reported to be the gavest and funniest highspeed hit of the screen, and there are seven big song bits included.
