CHRISTIAN ORDER
CONFERENCE OF CLERGY Convened by the Bishop of Wellington, the Pvt. Rev. St. Barbe Holland, a conference of the clergy of the Wellington Diocese will be held in Palmerston North from February 22 to February 26. The main theme of the gathering will be to discuss the Christian Order Campaign for 1943. The conference will open with evening prayer at St. Peter's Church, Terrace End, on Monday next. The preacher will be Bishop Holland. The closing service will be held in All Saints’ Church. The preacher on 'this occasion will be the Archbishop of New Zealand, the Most Rev. West Watson.
During the conference there will be morning, afternoon and night sessions. Included among the speakers will be His Grace the Archbishop, the Archdeacon of Wellington, the Archdeacon of Waitotara, the Ven. J. R. Young (Wangpnuj), Canon D. J. Davies, Canon H. Watson, the Rev. C. E. Muschamp, Dr. Salmond, Dr. Nicol, and Mr. Howard Wadman.
