DAILY INTERCESSION
Thou shall preserve me from trouble: Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.
We bless Thee, O God. that it was in days of deepest trouble that trust like that was called forth of old. As thick darkness overlies our path today, help us to have a like sure faith in Thee. Thy care for each one of us, and Thy Working amid all the confusions of earth. Give strength to those who fight and the patience of faith to those who can but wait. And help us all to think anew of the worth of the things for which we fight. Bring nearer the day. we beseech Thee, when tyranny will be overthrown and the untrammelled opportunity of good be restored to the children of men. Amen.
