NURSES’ SALARIES
INCREASES RECOMMENDED Rugby. Fob. 13. . The Ministry of Health “Nurses’ Salaries Committee’’ has issued a report recommending increases to come into operation on April 1. The Times states: “The recommendations will, if adopted, provide for the first time in the history of the nursing profession a national scale of salaries and uniform, standard conditions in the service which should go far to attract a better type of woman to the task of caring for the sick.”— 8.0.W.
