Arc-dental E.P.S. Alarm Confusion and excitement were caused in Rotorua shortly before 11 o’clock on a recent morning, when the siren on the fire station, which for some months has been reserved for emergency precautions alarm purposes, was sounded. E.P.S. members hurriedly stopped work and reported at their stations. Actually no i E.P.S. alarm was intended, the having been sounded by the brigade when a call was received to a motorcar fire and the brigade was unable to use the customary fire bell alarm owing to the lack of water power, following a wash-out of the pipeline.
